You know in the 5th book, I opted for the Luna/Ron thing. I thought that she'd be able to understand and accept Ron for who he is and not what he can do or learn. It makes more since to me, but since Ron is stupid and will always (canon-wise) end up with Hermione... I turned my attentions to Harry/Luna (though my fav pairing is Ginny/Harry). Harry/Luna makes since too. They are both out-of-the-ordinary. Harry for his unwanted fame. Luna for her weird look on life. They fit... And in the 6th book when Harry and Luna talk... I thought maybe canon-wise it could happen.... Who knows though.

I whish I could live with the same hope as you. I adore H/L and really hope they will play an important role in the books.
